I purchased a Dodge Ram 100 series pickup, everything is running and I love to learn how to do things, but I am not sure how to get the radio going. I have a simple radio in it with one speaker, but it does not pick anything up with no sound. I checked the speaker and it works. I am not sure how to check the antenna or anything, but willing to learn. Any advice where to go and look for this infomation?

if your not getting any sound from you stereo then maybe the wires to your speaker arent good try putting some new ones from the back of the stereo to your speakers

My Dodge Caravan is a 4 cyl. and the cooling does not seem to come on. I just had the head gasket replaced so I don’t want to leave it running indefinatly just to see if the fan will eventually come on. I don’t want to blow out the gasket again. In the Haynes manual it says to unplug the fan switch and if the fan comes on then the switch is bad. That doesn’t seem logical to me. The Haynes manual is loaded with errors. I have replaced the switch and I did the test stated in the Haynes manual and the fan does come on when I unplugged the switch. Is this correct and does it mean I put a defective switch. Not sure what to do here. Any good insite would be a big help. Thanks.

unplug your temp. sensor its the 2 wire one the fan should come on when unplugged if so replace the sensor

I’m considering trading in my 07 Scion TC with 63k miles for an 05 Dodge Neon SRT4 also with 63k miles. I’ve always been in love with the SRT4, and couldn’t find one when I bought my Tc. However, Scion will be much more reliable than the SRT4 I imagine. Can anyone who owns an Srt4 offer me advice on the maintenance, or anyone have an opinion of my trade? Thank you!

At 63,000 miles the Neon will need serious maintenance, but if you love her and want to get married, be prepared for the day she runs off with the mechanic and it costs you a barrel of cash to get her back. This will happen over and over. The Scion is just broken in. She may be plain but she’ll never stray and she’s a darned good cook.

One is not necessarily better than the other. Besides, you haven’t given me any model years. These cars are very different, and “good” depends on the year it was made. We need more information to help you with your question.

srt8 or rt, dodge charger.?

Dodge Charger Srt8 or rt? the srt8 has 425 horsepower! but its forcing all of that through 2 wheels.
the dodge charger RT has 375 but has that going through 4 wheels.
so, do you think its worth the extra 50 horsepower or go with the rt, because 4 wheel drive will accelerate a lot quicker, but may fall behind due to the lack in horsepower,
anyone have any personal experience or a link for me? thanks

You do realize the R/T comes in RWD and AWD? The AWD is NOT standard on R/T models.
Also, there is NO comparison between an R/T and an SRT8. The SRT8 is a whole different beast. 50HP + brembo brakes + better interior + beefed up transmission + better suspension + a better looking car overall.

A belt is about $ 25. Brakes an be upwards of $ 250 depending on how much needs to be replaced.
